Engagement of rural youth a panacea to development

Am inspired by being with young people in rural Zimbabwe, they are not just visionary but outgoing. This need to be harnessed adequately in order to build a sustained generation. Lack of array of opportunities in rural Zimbabwe must be a central panacea responsibility for the Government of Zimbabwe , with the complementary role of all stakeholders. In the question and answer with former Minister of Youth Mr Savior Kasukuwere sometimes this year, i emphasized about enacting an implementable Youth Act driven from the current Youth Policy. In this regard, i titillated this issue in my letter to the new Minister of Youth, Indigenisation and Empowerment Mr Francis Mhema in his first days in office. We have a determination to rally behind the Youth Act minus the aspects of barbarism and centrality, but genuine youth empowerment regardless of political affiliation, gender, color or creed, as long ari mwana wevhu. Can the government ignore 67 percent of its total population, the Youth ? If it means we shall use PEACEFUL ways to claim our space so be it , we shall invest in the wisdom of streets protest gam-
nented peacefully in the event of neglaction. Everyone has a responsibility to ACT, with figures of unemployment stratospherically rising to more that 80 percent in Zimbabwe, it is not only frivolous and vexatious but also exiguous and problematic. Its time for real empowerment of young people, creation of jobs pinnacled on sustainable investment on the back-born of Zimbabwean interest
